The American Medical Association (AMA) has released changes to the CPT Evaluation and Management (E/M) codes and guidelines, set to go into impact Jan. 1, 2023. These changes were constructed on the corrections to office/outpatient E/M codes in 2021 that emphasized restorative decision-making and looked for to decrease the documentation burden. These E/M changes will influence healing center inpatients, perception care visits, meetings, crisis room visits, and nursing office administrations besides domestic, rest domestic, and domiciliary E/M Codes.
